After leaving my hometown of Gunnison, Colorado, I spent three years in Grand Junction at Mesa State University. During summers, I worked at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs and eventually decided to transfer to the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) to complete my degree in Business with a focus on Marketing. Since graduating from UCCS, I have been living in Colorado Springs.
During my time in Colorado Springs, I met my amazing husband, and we settled down in downtown. We adore the historic homes and the urban lifestyle charm. Together, we have three children - Claire, Jack, and Bennett - who keep us busy outside of work. Through my experiences, I have gained extensive knowledge about family life in Colorado Springs, from school districts to healthcare providers, childcare, and play groups to the best playgrounds. Building relationships with my clients is a key aspect of my job, and many of them become lifelong friends.
While I work with clients across Colorado Springs, my specialty lies in historical homes in downtown areas. I have a deep understanding of what to look for in older homes, identifying potential money traps, and recognizing renovation opportunities. My husband and I have completed two full renovations in the community, providing us with valuable insights. When choosing a Realtor, it's crucial to select someone with experience, knowledge of the location, and an understanding of the overall value. I pride myself on being that Realtor for the Old North End and surrounding downtown communities, recognizing that buying a home is a significant investment that requires careful consideration. In addition, my family enjoys spending time in Breckenridge, where I also help clients buy and sell homes.
Community involvement is essential to our family, and in 2013, we founded Couples Who Care, an organization dedicated to giving back. Over the years, CWC has donated over $200,000 to more than 45 local causes. We are deeply committed to this group and contribute a portion of each closing towards the fund.
As both a buyer's agent and listing agent, I prioritize understanding my clients' needs and concerns to provide tailored solutions. I recognize the importance of each real estate transaction and strive to ensure a smooth and successful process for all involved.
Sumer Liebold was the epitome of what you would hope for in an out of town real estate agent. My wife and I were moving to COS from the East Coast, but we do not know how it would have been possible without Sumer’s constant assistance throughout the process. She was prompt to return emails, calls, and text at all hours of the day and night. She takes the time to get to know her clients and understands their needs and desires to better concentrate the approach. She is unlike others we have worked with that just inundates you with emails and photos, she really focus’s the search to provide you the best results. She also has the inside track and theref...— Andrew C.
Sumer couldn't have been any more amazing. There is no doubt in my mind, I got my sweet new home because of her knowledge, guidance, relationships and work ethic. Additionally, with being a first time homebuyer, there was a lot to learn. Knowing I had Sumer and 8z on my team, allowed me to take the leap with confidence while knowing I was properly taken care of.— Kendall U.
Sumer Liebold at 8z Real Estate was fast, professional, and knowledgeable. She found us a great house and negotiated hard to get us a price under the appraised value with a $5,000 carpet allowance. Great experience overall!— Ed E.
